As I’m sure you’re all aware, I published my first book of poetry last month, with the promise of donating 100% of the proceeds to Shelter – a charity I am very passionately about.
So far, there have been two purchases of Timeless Hourglass, equating to the first monthly donation of £5 to Shelter. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank the two people who purchased the book and show you the donation, made possible by your generosity.
I would love to see this book contribute to Shelter in a massive way, silently supporting families and individuals in housing crises. This is where you – my family and friends – come in. I need you to buy the book and share with your friends, whether it be via Facebook, Twitter, or the good old fashioned method of talking. The more copies that are sold, the more money I can send to Shelter to support those who truly need it.
Wondering if my poetry is any good? Take a look at what Chloe had to say about it:
Once again, I ask you to spare a few quid to put towards a good cause – you not only get the satisfaction of knowing you’re helping someone in a horrid situation, but you get something to read out of it too.
